    Wire diameter, mesh size and spacing layer: wire filter according to the characteristics of three structural parameters are defined. Different superficial air velocity measurement in wind tunnels across two different mesh pad pressure drop. We proposed a new simplified method for numerical simulation geometry. The use of large amounts of data to calculate the pressure drop, a new expression is derived to predict the pressure drop across the mat. Good agreement of the experimental data, simulation data and expression data from this show achieved between the expression can accurately predict the pressure drop.
